It was time to take a non-climbing vacation, and we decided to pick somewhere that neither of us had been, or had any idea what a trip there would be like. We booked flights to and from Casablanca, and only figured out what we would actually do during the trip about two weeks before we cast off. Luckily Cassondra convinced me that we should hire a guide rather than go with my plan of "winging it." We ended up spending 10 days in 6 different locations, seeing a huge swath of the country, from desert to city to oasis.
